All riders must be at least 8 years old and up and be at least 50" tall. All participants need to weigh under 240 lbs each, should wear comfortable long pants and wear closed toed shoes like boots or tennis shoes.
30 Minute Horseback Ride
A shorter ride that either goes through the pastures or the forest of Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, TN.
All riders must be at least 7 years old and up and be at least 50" tall. You might have the opportunity to view wildlife while riding such as deer, raccoons, bobcats, coyotes, rabbits, fox and multiple bird species.
All participants need to weigh under 240 lbs each, should wear comfortable long pants and wear closed toed shoes like boots or tennis shoes.
1.5 Hour Horseback Trail Ride

Shelby Farms Park is one of the largest urban parks in the country, with 4,500 acres of forests, lakes and wide-open fields on the east side of Memphis. Our stables sit inside the park, so every ride starts in the woods, not in a parking lot.
Which ride should I pick?
First time on a horse? Start with the 30 Minute Ride or the 1 Hour Ride. Want more time in the forest? The 1.5 Hour Trail Ride and the 2 Hour Ride go deeper into the park. For a date or a special occasion, book the Private Ride or the Sunset Private Ride and it will be just your party and a guide.

We ride every day of the year except Christmas. Spring and fall are our busiest seasons, so book ahead for March and October weekends.
