Beginner Horse Camp
Let your kids enjoy this beginner-friendly horse camp in Memphis, TN. Available two weeks in June, Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 1:00.
We offer the premier horse camp in the Memphis area. Your child will have a great time as they learn about horse care and develop their horsemanship skills. They will be assigned a horse for the week and will ride daily in the beautiful Shelby Farms Park. There will also be games, arts and crafts as your child makes new friends.
Advanced Horse Camp
Is your camper ready to take their horsemanship skills to the next level with more speed and more advanced training?
Campers must be 10 to 15 years old and must have attended a previous camp, had lessons or be approved by the camp administrator.
Adult Horse Camp
Experience learning the basics of riding a horse in Memphis, TN. In this adult horse camp, attendants will have a great time learning the basics of riding a horse while making memories and new friends.
Riders will be divided in groups of beginners and those with a little more experience.
2 hours per evening, Monday through Friday, 10 hours total.
Beginner Horse Camp
Ages 8 to 15. Their own horse for the week, horse care, daily rides, games, arts and crafts.
Advanced Horse Camp
Ages 10 to 15. More speed and more advanced training for campers who have attended a previous camp, had lessons, or are approved by the camp administrator.
Adult Horse Camp
Ages 16 and up. Learn the basics of riding in groups split by experience. 10 hours over 5 evenings.
What campers learn
Camp is about more than riding. Campers learn how to care for a horse, how to handle one on the ground, and how to ride with confidence in the woods and fields of Shelby Farms Park.
Kids camps
The Beginner Horse Camp is for ages 8 to 15 and needs no experience. The Advanced Horse Camp is for ages 10 to 15 who have been to a previous camp, had lessons, or are approved by the camp administrator.
Adult camp
The Adult Horse Camp is for ages 16 and up. Riders are divided into groups of beginners and those with a little more experience, 2 hours per evening for 5 evenings.
When
Kids camps run in June, Monday through Friday. The Beginner camp runs 7:30 to 1:00 and the Advanced camp runs 8:30 to 1:30. 2027 camp dates open soon. Call 901-647-5793 for more info. Camps fill up, so book early.
